About me

Xiangtao Li serves as a professor at the School of Artificial Intelligence, Jilin University, and has been recognized on Stanford University’s list of the top 2% of global scientists for three consecutive years (2020-2022). He boasts authorship or co-authorship of roughly 100 academic journal papers, with about 40 of these published in leading journals. His work includes 7 publications in premier general science journals such as Nature Communications, Advanced Science and Nucleic Acids Research; 20 in top Bioinformatics journals, including Bioinformatics, PLoS Computational Biology, Briefings in Bioinformatics, and Communications Biology; along with 18 papers in IEEE Trans series journals and presentations at CCF A-ranked conferences. His research, as indexed by Google Scholar, has garnered over 3700 citations, earning him an H-index of 33. Notably, one of his papers has been designated as an ESI Highly Cited Paper, ranking in the top 1% by citation frequency, with its highest-cited paper reaching 300 citations, and eight papers exceeding 100 citations each. Li also contributes as an editorial board member for several esteemed international SCI journals, such as BMC Biology, BMC Bioinformatics, BMC Genomics, and PeerJ Computer Science.
